i can't connect using phpadmin i tried everything !!
has any one actually used phpadmin i was just wondering ?
please help how to get phpadmin to work

Have you created a database, created a user and assigned privileges for that user?

Also you are much better off using phpminiadmin as it is much quicker (there is a link on the control panel page).

As Davey90r suggested you must create a:
- User: It doesn't have to be yourname@zxq.net it can be something like Joe if you wish. To assign the priviledges to that user you must select all the options available for the user or will have installation problems for certain software.
- Database: If you are installing a forum or cms, you are recommended to use something like CMS01.
