You need to go to [GoDaddy] and purchase a domain name from there. Then you need to set it up using the name servers found in your user settings page (at the bottom).
Then you need to wait 24 hours for the DNS to refresh and you have a domain name.
Unfortunately, the free domain name competition is current down.

the free domain name system is currently being changed. It will soon be based on website forum participation and help i believe. but you can get a domain for easily $6 and redirect it here. zymic will also in the future be allowing you to buy domain names on this site.

Like wozzym said, the free domain offer is currently being reviewed and will be reintroduced soon based on a forum contribution system. So you may be able to get a free with Zymic, yes.
