.....hi ....having probs trying to upload a mov file and mp3s...permission error......can someone pls confirm that these files aint allowed.....i'm using FTP via Dreamweaver 8 on apple mac if that makes any difference

Both these formats are disallowed due to possible copyright infringement.

thanks for that ....i thought that might be the case.....it;s a shame cos none of them have any copyright issues.......would changing the format make any difference?

You can upload the .mov to something like youtube, then link it on your site. The mp3 however you won't be able to upload and will have to look for an offsite storage solution. I can't think of any offhand.

I using slideshowpro for Flash (it's a really excellent software) and on each gallery there is a music from the countries visited. (the copyright is indicated in a caption under each pictures)
We can't upload mp3 ok but, is it possible to proceed by another way?
