I cant seem to write to the session save path and i need to know how to fix it. Also is there any way to overide the safe mode for PHP?

Are your files write protected maybe?
Don't know about overriding safe mode, don't think so though.

I have edit all the other files, but var/lib/php5 isnt in Joomla, i think its in the SQL database but i dont know how to access it.

You will have to see what version of MySQL the server is running to help answer your question.
And no, safe mode cannot be "overridden" (<- is that even a word?)
