It's a advertising exchange . When another person gets their ads shown on your site and you get yours shown their site?

It's will be like google adsense and adsword, but free.

To show your ads on the site of the other members you will need to put a code on your site. The code will generate ads.
The ads will be shown automatically, and each refresh of the page will change the ads, it's as adsense.

That will be free for the advertising exchange, but! the members will put their own banners or just some text on the database, or pay us to create their banners,
the fees is not already fixed.

With the money we will pay all the team, coder, graphist, and other.

The site will be host on zymic and the banner will be host on a other server with 40gig of space.

personally i think that the banners should be hosted on the CLIENTS servers....

hmm... yea but that'll make it much harder to organize. We have some banners that don't work for this person... and then for that person... it would get very messy. If we have all the banners hosted all on one server, we could make sure that nothing goes wrong. We want to make it easier for the client... not for us. And then once that is done we make it easier for us

quite possibly, but if the script would allow it then they could just post the URL to the image, maybe with a ACCEPTING from admin type to make sure the banner is usuable

Most of the big ad-companies use this system such as Adbrite.

Choosing between both has its ups and downs, maybe the client has just updated the banner, but has to wait for the admin to change everything.... idk how the script will work, but just giving inputs here and there

yes yes... I'm just saying if our server goes down there's going to be less mess as if there's goes down, or they mess up something, we have no control over it. See what I'm saying?

I can have a second server with the same space if I want, because I have some contact with their own server too.

I had to remove new accounts due to spammers. Didn't bother coding a captcha script because at the time there wasn't a bot problem.
Is this going to be an open source project or do you guys intend to keep it closed sourced and eventually sell ads?
The banner script displays ads by choosing a random site that has more earned credits than used credits. If there are no sites to display, show a default link (could be an ad). You earn .8 credits for each banner displayed and it costs 1 credit to display each of your banners on another site.
Some suggestions I'd make:
Add a captcha for the create account page.
Have all of the images hosted on the main server, or under the control of the server. People can create malformed jpgs if you don't resave the images.
I allowed swf ads to be used. I'd disallow those.
Have a more advanced way to track people generating false hits. You could limit the amount of credits earned for a site per ip to something like 50, that way they'd have to hop on a different ip to start generating more false hits. You might want to keep a list of proxies as well to further prevent false hits.

If you are going to run a banner exchange:
keep it in either french or english. Most people don't speak both languages.
I think a button exchange (88x31) would be cool.
If it was a tutorial site exchange, the name TutorialLinkUp.com sounds good
Set up a system where the users can vote on who is allowed into the program, say you must have 3 approvals to get in.

That will be in french and english, the members will have to choose between french or english in his board. If he choose english the ads will be only in english and if he choose french the ads will be only in french.
