I'm not that great of a designer, but in my spare time I will dink around in photoshop and see what I can come up with. Here is a more "2.0" style blog/portfolio design I've come up with. It is still in progress, I just thought I'd share my current progress with you all. Comments and criticism appreciated and encouraged. Thanks cool.gif

Looks ok, Has alot of empty space. but im sure with a blog imported it will fill up. Pretty nice, keep it going.

Are you designing for 1280 Res.? ...hmm thats not really a good idea lol...I am pretty sure most internet users are still on 1024 * 768...Some are even still in 800*600 lol other than that I like it soo far

I'm not neccssarily designing for 1280 resolution, just in 1280 res. Once the design gets coded it will by dynamically adjusted depending on the users res. Thanks though smile.gif

Hey all, I really appreciate the CC that has been given. I've modified the design a bit, please share your thoughts. Thanks!

Thats a pretty decent design for you, Perry.

But i wouldn't design on 1280x*. I design most my sites on 1024x786

Yeah, I realised that now. Of course, I ever get around to coding it, it will be CSS + Browser dynamic.

Any suggestions for improving it? It's hard for me to judge my designs, so criticism + ideas are great. Thanks.

1920 x 1200 ftw.

that is all.

The silver strip near the top throws me off for some reason. Other than that, it's pretty good.
