Ok so i got ftp and stuff i then downloaded phpBB and like uploaded it to my site but whenever i go to the site it keeps saying the page doesnt exist *should i start over?* *if so can u guys give me any hints on how to create a site since im doing this to mostly advertise my shoutcast station*

open your ftp and copy the name of the folder that the phpbb is inside. then go to yourdomain.com/the name of the folder

hey thanks it worked now my new problem is that in phpBB3 in the forum whenever i try uploding an avatar it doesnt work. Also like how do i make it so i can make my forum at www.mydomain.com instead of www.mydomain.com/phpBB3

Simply log in to your FTP client and drag all the files in the phpBB3 folder into the root directory (and then delete the now empty phpbb3 folder).

As for avatars... check out this guide and make sure the folder where avatars are stored is writable, i.e. CHMOD to 777. Search the forum or reply here if you are not sure how to do this.

Yes, go through the guide and ensure that the required files have the right permissions or you will run into more problems.
