i just signed up on zymic for the webhosting service. when i go to reg for webhosting iget the following:

Signups are currently disabled. Please note due to rapid growth we are having to disable registering from time to time. We will post a specific date here soon. Thanks for your patience.

there are many things to register for on this site (great site and services btw!). as a newbie, i was hoping to confirm the issue i am having is one of the issues being resolved. so chill out...

You can ignore his and my sharpness, but there have been so many people asking the same question over and over again. Although you worded your question a little different, it basically sounded like the same question getting asked. Although you say there are many things to register for, there is only the site and hosting accounts and web traffic to register for. And assuming that you read the topic title it says [hosting] in it, so therefore that should have answered your question. But being a newbie is understandable, we were all there at one point. And i'm just as guilty for being so blunt and rude towards the newbs.

any idea, when this would be rectified ? I am not able to view my websites.

Hi there I saw an error on my web account since yesterday.
My account is zetsumei-bara.zxq.net, I can't upload any files into it. Everytime I try to upload a graphics it does say:

Your new here and you're already being impatient? There are people that have been waiting a while for the errors and registrations to be fixed. Just be patient, and read. Your answer is in the original post.



The answer to both ReturnC and Reicheru is this:
This question is already answered, many times, in many topics. If you read some of the other news posts, and search, you will find that this has been an ongoing problem for alot of users for about a week or so. Hence the news post about Zymic getting new servers. Just be patient and the errors will be fixed.

I'm having the same problem. It was working on thursday using the zymic ftp program. I added 2 pages, but I can't add anything as of yesterday, friday. I haven't been able to use my ftp upload program for a few weeks, I get a 550 error. The good news is that what I uploaded before yesterday is working http://cart.99k.org So, I'll wait and see if I can add some more pages down the road, and if not I can abandon my project and start again from scratch.

Sounds great, looking forward to it. Will register for the sake of my mum's site and maybe also moving my current site over (since my previous hosting company merged with another company, its gonna be alot more expensive next time when im paying again. )

Just a note, we are very nearly done, should be tonight. Registration is working but we are working on touching up some small bits, such as skinning and "my website list" feature.

I'm not entirely sure if this is the right topic or not, but it has to do with making the decision to register here.

I run a squadron website for the Civil Air Patrol - the United States Air Force Auxiliary. It has much the same layout as www.cap.gov, however the current free host went down for no reason and nothing's working. I still have all of the files and just need a new place to put it, but the two things that everyone else has kept me from doing is either:
1) Using my own domain, or
2) Uploading pictures/photos

So far this site looks like it's gonna have the best offers, support, and best of all, be ad free, but I'm just curious as to if the two things I mentioned above are available here.

Again, sorry if I shouldn't have posted this here, but I figured my post was along these lines.

...me too. i've been watching for some time, waiting for the hosting reg to open up. i then signed up 6 days ago and have been checking regularly since. it's been frustrating to say the least. i can only imagine what grief jack et al are going thru.

1. Yes you are able to use your own domain, but it seems some people have been having trouble with it. Normally you can get it working though.
2. Also yes, you are able to upload pictures and photos, as long as they are not copyright or you have the right to use them.

If you have any other questions just create a new topic in the "Zymic Free Web Hosting - General Discussion & Help" forum and I think your topic will be viewed by more people.
