Well I used to use an illegal version of photoshop years ago when it was just photoshop CS. Everyone knows that there are illegal copies of this particular software everywhere. Right now I use PDN, and i love rick brewster, but I need to get something like photoshop for my web designs. Off the adobe web site the extended version is $1000, and without the 3D (Which i would like to have) $650.

basically I want to know, is there a cheaper way to get a legal copy of this software? Id love to pay 500 bucks for it.

If your a student, you can get a discount in there somewhere (The adobe website that is...).

thanks jacob but dont they give you a 'student' version that doesnt include the extended? im gona look into that ioffer.com a little more because those prices are great if everything is really legit, also ill check out adobes site and check out the student discount.

looks like adobe offers students full copies for 299, ill probally do that since i no it will be legit.

Well just a heads up iOffer is not really the most legit site one the web for purchasing stuff. It is most likely a burnt disc, but hey you could just plead ignorance.

I have just found something else. Go to [CreativeMac's Site] and hover over Photoshop and there is three links which appear.

You could use the Photoshop-esque version of Gimp. It's open source so it's completely free and they are developing the interface and program much like Photoshop, I heard. They are becoming very popular.

Thanks for the advice guys, I think im just going to get the student version. Brooke thanks for the tip but im ready to move up to CS3.

Bear in mind that the student license does not allow commercial use.
