I cannot connect through FTP

I have my ftp address yourmaxpower.vndv.com
my username yourmaxpower

and I am assuming the password is the same one i signed up with but I keep getting this error message

Status: Waiting to retry...
Status: Resolving IP-Address for yourmaxpower.vndv.com
Status: Connecting to 207.210.86.252:21...
Status: Connection established, waiting for welcome message...
Error: Could not connect to server

I also tried username yourmaxpower@vndv.com and that didn't work either.

what am i doing wrong?
