Hi guys,

I think this is a local error with all users of the new VNDV domains.

I am having a SQL error whilst installing Simple Machine Forums...

The forum is in a sub folder called forum... not in the root

I enter the username and the password for the SQL server and I enter the database name, but it gives me this error.

QUOTE

Cannot connect to the MySQL database server with the supplied data.

If you are not sure about what to type in, please contact your host.
Access denied for user 'mystictemplars_r'@'localhost' (using password: YES)
Click here to try this step again.

Now I cannot use this database as I am creating a website for my local guild on World Of Warcraft.

Can you please help me with this error as it is really important.

It is indeed an issue being experience by a lot (if not all) of vndv.com subdomain users.

The admins are no doubt working on this and it should be resolved soon.

Try and serach before you post and keep posts about the same problem in a single thread
