My name's Chris, and I'm a Cadet Chief Master Sergeant in the Civil Air Patrol. I'd go into detail about it, but it's just easier to link to my site
http://nycap.us.to/
specifically here...http://nycap.us.to/aboutcap.html
Hosted on Zymic, it's a website that I made for my squadron using nothing but notepad, some friends who were good with graphics, and the source code from cap.gov (you'll see the resemblance when you visit both). Our old site used to be here, but I got tired of it looking unprofessional and decided to make my own.
Horror Story Time: I first hosted the site on www.free-web-hosting.biz, which served most of my interests with only a small banner ad on the bottom of the pages. Then problems came up - first was people actually hacking into the sites - mine was hacked into by some Mid-East hate group - needless to say I had tracking stuff on the site and reported it to the host and CAP - haven't seen that guy since
Anyway, after that huge breach in OPSEC, I should've just left immediately but I didnt. About two months later (about a week ago), the host went down unexpectedly for two days, which prompted me to find a new host while it was still unsure when, if ever, things would return. That's when an entire search of hosts took place (at least 5 others) before I found this place.
So, having seen the great service, and the ad-free offer (which is actually a federal requirement for our sites - though CAP has been pretty lax on non-.gov sites) I researched, waited till registrations actually opened back up, and signed up here - and as you can see with my site above, that worked out nicely.
I found out a couple of days ago that my old host was sold to a new person who put even more ads on the sites, and the hacking situation is still going on with sites on that host. Everyone, including the staff, is bailing over there, and I recommended this site as a new place for them to go

Anyway, with that little story over with, I was just wondering what you guys thought of the site, and if you have any suggestions, or see any problems that I should fix. Thanks.
