I am lost. I have loaded my files, but not sure what to do next to get them up and going. Right now they are just in my file manager. Please help. I have done a site before but through a school site. That was a breeze. I just loaded them from Filezilla and it was there.
Any help would be great

Thank you. I forgot that I had to have an index.html file. One of the first things that I was taught. I went back and redone my files and reloaded them and it works. Or I guess I should say it works in firefox. The navigation part isn't working in Explorer and I can't figure out why.

If you have any suggestions there it would be great or I can do another post.

address is http://carlasdesigns.zxq.net/family/

Thanks

Great I am glad that it is working. I probably just need to dump my cookies and temps and then maybe it will work on mine.
Thank you for your help. Going to get the last two pages done and loaded.

Thank you again.

Oh your website nearly blinded me. Change the background color to a more suttle tone plz for god sake lol. Uh well that was my intial reaction and i have yet to change my mind.

Can I have Andrea's phone number?

Just kidding.

Yep, your navigation text definitely needs contrast to the background, in fact I'd remove the flowers altogether. I'd also remove the big chunky borders and probably opt for more neutral, pastel colours rather than the bold blues, greens and turquoise. Perhaps look into developing a colour scheme using a site like this.

For the navigation problem in IE, try adding

CODE
z-index: 1;

to your navigation classes.

You are great. I will work on those before I reload the pages. Still have to get the last ones done. Please let me know of any other suggests. Still in the learning stage. Just have had a year of HTML and CSS.
Thank you so much.

Yeah some times my ownwebsites or other websites dont work for IE but in FF or vice versa, i suggest deleting cookies/cache and reloading the site.
