Alright, there HAS to be someone out there besides me who can program Perl. I wanna learn the.. CGI aspects of Perl, right now I only write console(DOS Window) Perl.. Can you even use Perl scripts on a zymic hosting account? (free subdomain account)

only time i have ever used perl was for that stupid "hacking" forum accounts. i grew upand got over it
I've written a fair amount of perl, not excessively keen on the language, I wrote my linux firewall control script in perl though. To answer your second question, no, Zymic hosting is php hosting and does not support any CGI language.

I've used Perl, but not for web scripting. (I will at some point though)
EDIT: I just realized how old this topic is. I apologize.

I use perl quite often. I love it. I haven't done very much of the CGI, but I know how to.

I use Perl for CGI scripting. I actually prefer it over PHP, which sort of derived from PERL, in case folks don't know it!
PERL is great!!
