I lost my old phone and, unless someone can tell me where they like to hide, I'm stuck with buying a new one. I just don't know what I should get! I need to find it by next month (I think, might be earlier) or my dad's canceling the bill.

I don't have much money. I was hoping I could start earning money online, this would help but that takes time. Learning, working, etc. I have somewhere around $100-$200 (USD) available. Anything good out there worth getting?? Saving up for? Waiting for? I have AT&T if that help Thanks a bunch!

Well i personally use a SLVR L7c (and love it) i physically abue the phone on purpose and get no error as of yet..
examples:

dropping down stairs
dropping out of a 3 story building
sliding on cement
playing fetch.

Tho here are some other phones worthy of touching:

Razr2

but all in all a SLVR, is my phone of choice...

Get an iPhone I love mine, its brilliant. Not very many problems at all to me. It's very strong, as in very scratch resistant, but if you drop it on a driveway, the shiny frame WILL dent. Ha, anyways, get that phone, its great.

How about price wise? I was thinking of getting an iPhone and unlocking it but, yes, I was afraid I'd just lose out on all the new features when v2 comes out. Ah... I'm not too fond of Razrs. Everyone has them. I like the features and all but theres something about them...

Oh and I have another question. Does getting a new SIM card cost money? I'm pretty sure it does... I'm just not sure of how much. And if I just buy an unlocked phone online could I just bring it into the store?

Anyways a new sim card is about $15....

my SLVR cost me: $202.17 on ebay new....

and yes... my slvr was UNLOCKED didnt need to go to store just went online and entered serial number

but with SIM card phones, all you need to do is place it in there, but since you lost it, just call up AT&T and order one and your basically done. Or if you dont want to wait got to store, it may be cheaper!

ok, its a phone.... they all do the same thing except some can play music - ipod - some can record - video camera -.... who cares! get a $99 nokia with a B/W screen... its for calling people get a bargain not pay an extra $100 on being able to play music and record vids....

If you're paying $100 for a B/W Nokia then you are getting severely ripped off. I would go with a RAZR, SLVR, or any other generic phone you can find on Ebay or the AT&T store. If you are buying a phone off of Ebay that is unlocked make sure that it corresponds to AT&T's GSM 850/1900 network.
