yeah. The WHOLE site would be an iframe and the BG matrix would be set on absolute lol

But I have to admit that is pretty horendus. Maybe try adding more categories, get a SIMPLE background, maybe a more appropriate navigation, easier on eye colors (colourlovers.com)

Well ok other than the fact that i made it i think its pretty good , see i think for a gaming site you really need some gaming ideas, if its a clan (like the one i did above) you need to see what they are playing and add some colors matching the game... probably caracters...

Gaming site means lots of sections such as : teams / shoutboxes / medias / download / navs / products / ... many things ! so basicly a CMS (later on when you code it)

I think your site, above, is not really gaming, you need to focus a bit more on a game... your site, above, can be used for many other things than Gaming.

Eh.. I hate the colour lovers ad. I think the majority of colors on colour lovers are just thrown together randomly - I could never find anything that suited me or looked good in my eyes. They look good as palletts, but when thrown together to make an actual website with them, it looks horrible (i tried same layout with a few diff pallets and they never looked good on the website)

I do love your long, useful reviews though. It's nice to see people give long reviews on websites, even if they're not so great (ie, look at mine above. Short and kind of rude.)

So, sorry kelvinc - I didn't mean to sound rude.
As somebody said above this layout would be very hard to code (because of the background, imo). Generally, I try to use backgrounds only for parts that do not have any content in them. For content boxes, ect, I try to give them their own backgrounds and/or solid color backgrounds.

The blue hurts my eyes pretty bad. I would suggest making the blue much darker (kind of faded into the black background so it doesn't stand out so much).

The main content area... I'm not sure how you're going to make your font look like that.. You'll need to -really- lighten up the main content area and just use a regular black font, or blue, for people to be able to read it (unless you make all of the main content areas pictures too).

And as MrTouz said, it doesn't really have a "clan site" feel unless you're playing Matrix Online...

I personally use NO sites to set up my colors, wehn i design i either follow up what people needs, or if its a random design i just design blank and than add colors and see if they match... no palets... i think its a good way

I really don't like that site, I chose the color green, it it gave me orange as a secondary color. I think green (really bright greens like lime and yellow-green) go horribly with orange (it was flippin PUMPKIN orange no less) So I don't think I'll be keeping that color site for ANY reason.

well i dunno how they manage to have different colors when you select one, but i am guessing it works with values and an algorithm that selects values for a selected value... or ...

anyways, color is a taste, no one has the same taste of color... so i guess its bad for you but good for someone else... i hate anything bright tbh.

It looks icy, the blue gives a strange hot and cold feel. I am confused if it looks gorgeous, or a slight messy.
