First one - nothing too special, a bit non-glossyish, if you're designing a template, combine Gradients with Gloss, that's a plus.

Second - 's alright. I'm not a fan of the colors.

Gloss would definately make number 1 look better. Number two... I don't like the colors much. I'm fine with the blue just not the green. Add some content to them just so we see what it looks like with it!

i suggest on both of them make a smaller navigation.
since i guess these are just images not converted to html sites i don't think it'll be hard if you add some images.. inside the extrem gaming, probably add game brands or logos to pimp it out and give it life because even if its not for anyone, a site without any content will always look ugly. at least its how i feel.

but the first i really like 6/10
