I need to install Joomla - but SAFE MODE is ON - Can you change it to SAFE MODE OFF ??
As now I have to manually install and have CHMOD all folders/ files to 777 !

Also .htaccess - rewrite mode chould be great // for SEO use! And short human links!

actually when i did mods for joomla i have tested them on severs with safe mode on. You should be able to use the installer...
and for the .htaccess dont use SEO use SEF use sh404SEF

actually if i can remember correctly before i got a dedi, DreamHost always had Safe_Mode On....
We should make an online petition for people who want it switched off to sign.
