Something must be wrong. The vndv servers are said to be working fine and should have been from day one because they are on the new system type?
But, every 3 seconds my site crashes, I can't even upload a 10kb file, let alone be able to sign in with filezilla. Sure I can log in and see the files and folders but that crashes ever 0 - 30 secconds and stays down for liek 5 minutes. The second I think to upload a file while im connect with filezilla the connection crashes and will never reconnect unless im never transferring files. Does this male sence? It does it with the clanteam server and the zzl.org.. It's been like this for days. When will the vndv site work...

i'm also in vndv and so far no problems for me, well exept the harddrive problem but that affected everyone. Only thing i have noticed, is that sometimes uploading my files with ftp , the connection brakes but then it's back and my uploading continiues.

also i want to add that so far this hosting rocks and ....

I'm having problems with Vndv. I mean everyone had the hardrive problems, but Now Every like 30 minutes the site will go down for like 2 minutes, I mean Yeah it's not that long, but When you have a forum, and your trying to post and the site just suddenly goes down it gets frustrating.

I cant access FTP

Strange ... i'm currently uploading files and in my end FTP works but i haveto admit it's bit slower than usual ....

It has been up and down 3-4 times in the past time I have made my last message, so Something is wrong.

same goes here I'll be making a post in my forum or in wordpress and I go to submit it and it wont work and I'll have refresh the page and then do it again. It only seems to lose a connection for a minute or less but does this often.

This problem is being assessed and some solutions have been implemented to assist in the slow transfer speeds.
As for vndv.com hosting, I have an account there and there is nothing wrong with it.

Are you sure? My account which is at .vndv.com is not working at the FTP. But my other account(other then .vndv.com) the FTP is working fine.

yes the ftp problem with login and such has been a problem. but to my knowledge, it is being worked on

Well as of right now, I would like to say mine is working fairly well. The down time has dropped by a lot and I am able to connect to my ftp with out a problem. Id like to thank zymic for resolving some of the issues. And I hope that all the issues will be fixed in the distant future. I still from time to time get my ftp to disconnect it's self while transferring but it's not as bad as it was. This could only last for a while and it could get worse, but I hope it gets better. Is any one else in here who has had problems with vndv getting better results?

The main problem is ftp with filezilla, I get this error all the time:

Status: Delaying connection due to previously failed connection attempt...
Status: Connecting to 207.210.86.252:21...
Status: Connection established, waiting for welcome message...
Status: Resolving IP-Address for b2basics.vndv.com
Response: 421 Too many connections (2) from this IP
Error: Could not connect to server

"Response: 421 Too many connections (2) from this IP" I think this error is because I have more then 1 simultaneous transfers.. I wonder why that messes it up so I can't connect.. lol

For anyone complaining about this, there is a news topic about the vndv server loading times being slow, which could be causing these "downtimes" you all are talking about. The server takes too long to respond to your browser and makes it look like your site is down.

If you all would READ the news, and KEEP reading it, you will know about the issue and you also will be updated when they have it fixed.

So please be patient, as anyone who has ever done something on a computer knows that things CANNOT always work 100% right.

May be we should make a automated pop-up when there is good news and until the person reads it, they cannot post.
Good sure fire way to fix this problem. .
