Is their a safe mode patch for joomla 1.5? I only seem to find one for older versions.

I want to install a plug in that bridges joomla and phpbb 3, but that requires me to install a plug in and i don't know how to do it via ftp.. I added it to the plug in folder in my joomla root, but nothing shows up under joomla admin panel under plug ins... I think I have to install it via the joomla plug in installer but safe mode is on so i get this error::

Well, get used to it as Safe mode will not be turned off. It is a security risk.

Clearly you didn't understand question, and wasted your own time posting here. I am asking as I stated above your post; "Is their a safe mode patch for joomla 1.5?"

Now, can some on answer me that? I don't care if this site has it on, let them. I agree security is important. Now what I want to know is, "Is their a safe mode patch for joomla 1.5?"

If there is one for older versions of joomla then is there one for 1.5?

I don't think there is a patch for 1.5 at the moment, at least I cannot find one.

You should be able to install it manually, I've found this in the documentation:



Not ever having used Joomla, I have not tested this, but I can't see why it won't work.
