When you offer your services to people, you should also provide samples of your work.

Well i think what people are saying is that we do not know if the above is true or not... saying it wont change anything

Yea.. that will help a lot !
Don't get it wrong, i don't think anyone is against what you are doing, its actually pretty cool and friendly... but some people might not take it as it is and feel like you are an actual scammer and want to ruin peoples websites !

ya past examples of work are always good. the only reason why i was able to get hired for a project without prior work was because i am pretty good around zymic. i have helped people with small things, and (just figured this out) i have the highest post count. so usually even other things can let you be trusted. but here make me a forum. ill send you some details. then ill report back here for you

At least if you have past examples, you can show them what you are competent with.

Well considering the fact that Zymic hosting doesn't allow ANY remote connections (incoming or outgoing) on the server, I think it'd be pretty hard. The only thing he COULD be doing was saving information to a text file, and hiding the text file. But even then... I dunno. I mean it's a good point and all, but it'd be kinda hard for him to do much.

What's so difficult about installing SMF?
It's the easiest thing you can do, you upload and fill in a few details and a password, done.

I have problems because I have no experience whatsoever with databasing.
