Hmm its ok but very plain not many colours being used and the logo and to good aswell i would say 5/10
Brighter colours will work.

Possibly not the greatest site out there. It needs a little work. Brandon's example is a good example of what you should be aiming for.

The site as it is, looks unfinished.

One thing I notice is, there is no real border between the header and the content, the left menu looks fine design wise, but maybe you should try to add tabs at the top for a better menu, I agree with Crown.
http://www.housetohome.co.uk/ looks like a good inspiration you could use.
