Hi, i was wondering how i would go about adding a search facility to my website where i would be able to search for a particular object in my database and then display it on my website??

For example if someone wanted to find football matches that were played in a certain month, they would enter the month on the website (in an input box) and then click search and then the results will either be shown below the search facility or on another page. Either way it doesnt matter.

Any ideas?
