I'm just sick of them, one advert after the other is about car insurance websites! I just had a string of: Confused.com, GoCompare.com, MoneySupermarket.com and DirectLine.com - All these websites do (excluding the latter) is refer you to car insurance companies promising the best deals. These companies are making millions and polluting my TV viewing time by offering nothing more than an HTML form. Gah!

If anyone in the U.S. has the Safe Auto commercials in their area I feel their pain.

They offer a little more than that, it's fairly often the case that buying through someone else gets you a better deal. Because they're pushing business towards these companies the companies give them special packages to offer, which can be cheaper than you'd get going direct to the company. I'm not certain that they do that, but it seems likely.
