Ok guys, I have updated the site theme and layout, could I get some feedback on what I hope to be the final design?

I like it alot. Like the others said, interesting idea. This is actually the first carpooling site I have seen. When I googled it though, I realized there are alot more.

The layout is nice looking though I would have to say the header kind of makes it look weird. Other than than that, it looks really good.

Also I'd like to thank you for posting a blog about my site! It means alot to me and I've noticed that by putting my thing in your forum signature I've gotten a fair amount of traffic from zymic (from you) and other forums from you so thanks!

What exactly do you mean "weird"? Just curious...

Not trying to mean anything mean by weird.
I just mean like.. It doesn't exactly seem like it flows that well..
Maybe I would suggest having the picture fade out at both the top and the bottom and maybe getting a different font for the commuteX

I didn't take it as mean at all, I want it to look its best. Thanks for the input, I'll see what I can whip up tomorrow.

Nice Website. But I think its better to change the layout to some light colour to make it ever more attractive. Not bad, but just an opinion.

I like the idea you went with... very new; haven't seen it before.

However a few tips.
The whole top banner, very bad quality save and the slogan box is just eww.
The navigation doesn't really stand out and is a tad small, but tads is a good idea.
The right menu, doesn't look finished - not properly styled. Like leaving the <li> with the list style type in place.

I'd try and go over it, tweak a few areas; try and make it look a tad more professional.

The site is a great starter! love the name. I would suggest you add a different border around the content area of your site. The grey/white boarder makes it look fuzzy, do a more shiny bubbly design, thats sharper. i like the top banner, it gives the site a cartooney feel though. But i think it works its kind of a modern cartoon look, like those apple commercials. great job.
