I lived this situation for three times in the past, about twenty years ago. And today, my girlfriend and me we're proud of our three children.
It is great to be father and mother, it is clear. Only when you are, you are able to understand, hundred, better say thousand of things that our parents tried to talk us about. And us, well, you know, we never heared them, of course.
This is the way the world gone, go and will go.

That's pretty fucked up though, it's not really something to joke about. Maybe I am just a little too serious on the subject. Between my boyfriend and myself, we have 5 children and if I were to joke about something like that, it would be heart stopping. Children (even one) are a lot of work and an announcement like that should stop your heart, it's a big responsibility. Although, if you're considering having a child instead of waiting the time of the gestational period, I am positive I could spare one of ours.

That is such a shock, I know how you felt then.

I dumped my now ex-girlfriend and got together with someone else, when my ex after a week tells me that she's pregnant. Only after 2 weeks she went to do a test, when she said it was false alarm. IMO this was a lame attack on me, carefully planned to hurt me or something.

If it is not a joke then you should be happy Jacob.. Because you will be having a baby..
