I have a subdomain i set up here......and it only works when i exclude the www. from the url

so.....

http://www.mc.cullah.com does NOT work

http://mc.cullah.com DOES

anyone know why? or how i can fix it?

www. "subdomains" are usually only create for the main domain, e.g. www.cullah.com. If you want one for your subdomain, you will have to make your own sub-subdomain and map it to /path/to/htdocs/
Paradoks
does the WWW Really matter? you can just type it in without the WWW. or the Http:// and itl work just fine, If you must link it to other people simple use the Http:// link.
fenerli
Paradoks: The problem is the users who will link to it and try the site with www. I do this myself at times too when I don't have the link ready to copy and paste and write the URL with/without the www, possibly incorrectly. This is especially a problem with Australian sites and other country codes where many often require a www which also has the result that users can carry this over to other sites.

www. is a subdomain in its own right, there are campaigns to deprecate it :

Why is .www deprecated?

In order to answer this question, we must first recall the definition of WWW:
World Wide Web:
n. Abbr. WWW
1) The complete set of documents residing on all Internet servers that use the HTTP protocol, accessible to users via a simple point-and-click system.
2) n : a collection of internet sites that offer text and graphics and sound and animation resources through the hypertext transfer protocol.

By default, all popular Web browsers assume the HTTP protocol. In doing so, the software prepends the 'http://' onto the requested URL and automatically connect to the HTTP server on port 80. Why then do many servers require their websites to communicate through the www subdomain? Mail servers do not require you to send emails to recipient@mail.domain.com. Likewise, web servers should allow access to their pages though the main domain unless a particular subdomain is required.

Succinctly, use of the www subdomain is redundant and time consuming to communicate. The internet, media, and society are all better off without it.

So basically unless you create another DNS record for www.mc.cullah.com., it won't work.

I'm not sure, try adding it in:
http://www.vndv.com/domain_manager.jsp

Then add the subdomain 'www.mc' on the domain 'cullah.com', I don't know if this will work.

MC Cullah
it does not work, it gives me a

"for extra domain it will end with 468mb.com for sub domain the name only"

which doesnt make any sense
