I am sorry for possible offtopic, but I need your help in find new web hosting provider as soon as possible, because my current host (bluehost.com) is kicking me off, they say 'your account is using a lot server resources', but my website gets only about 200 visitors per day and my disk usage is 1500 MB (maybe they do not like that?)

Anyway, what would be your recommendations for getting reliable web hosting? Where are you hosting your websites? Are you happy with your providers?

I am now checking http://www.hosting24.com/ - offer looks very nice, but is it real that they can provide unlimited disk space?
I have contacted them about this question and they say something that "These days 500GB disk drive costs only $30 per month, so if some day we will run out of disk space we will simply add new 500GB disk drive with almost zero costs and you can continue uploading without any problems".

What do you think about it? Maybe things have changed in last 4 years? With my current provider I get only 2GB of disk space for $10 per month..

No host has unlimited disk space or bandwidth. It's a simple tactic to get you interested, which you are. Search around the internet for 'Hosting 24 reviews' and you'll get an idea of what they're like (if they have reviews).

I personally can vouch for Servage - a very good hosting provider in my opinion, but there are bad reviews out there too.

Your best bet is going to WebHostingTalk - everything you need to know about a reputable hosting company is there and alot of hosting companies hang out there.

Have you ever tried DreamHost? They are a pretty good hosting company that I would recommend. In addition to them, I would also recommend you use CWHNetworks. I have been using them for a while (even have a dedi from them) and they have never let me down. Uptime and speed is great and they don't oversell to such extreme as BlueHost. What they promise is what you get.

When you have gone pass Zymic hosting, you generally want something with more power, space, bandwidth, etc. The only option is the pay for a host.

Dear OxyGen... its a bit unreasonable your question, I have to say?!

If you do a math correctly you will see my point... You said that your current disk usage is 1500 MB, and that you receive about 200 visitors per day, which makes about 6000 visitors per month... Ok?!
I don't know what kind of website do you have, and I don't know did you check your website statistic, but I know from my experience, and from other sources that average of download per visitor is just about 1-2 MB of entire website... Many of visitors are gone away from the website immediately after the index page is downloaded (about 100 KB). Rest of them are ready, more or less, to spend some time on downloaded index page to see some photo or something like that (about 200-500 KB), but really handful of them are persistent to follow the links to next pages (about 2-4 MB)... Even if you offer some service that makes your visitors come back again, they will always use minimum of download, because they know exactly where to go, and what to do...
So... if 6000 visitors download about 1-2 MB (let's say 1,5 MB) each, it makes about 9000 MB, or less then 9 GB, my friend... 9 GB of monthly bandwidth really couldn't bother any serious web server. If that's so, you really shouldn't feel sorry about leaving them.

I'll said again, I don't know what are your needs, or did you really need a huge disk space (500GB and more) as you mentioned in your post, but I could gladly recommend to you FREE HOSTING, because it really covers all your needs as it seems for now.

Snooper, server resources is not limited to disk space and bandwidth usage. I'm guessing he was utilising too much CPU power caused by a process intensive script, e.g. a server, a busy chat room, multi-user flash etc.

Referral links are NOT ALLOWED. For someone who has more than ONE post on the forums, i'm really surprised you haven't realized this.
And also, I mean recommending free webhosting when someone is looking for paid hosting isn't right. Obviously they wouldn't be looking for paid hosting if they are on a FREE hosting site. AND making money off the poor guy? You really need to stop.

Referral link usually looks like: http://www.some-doamin.com/?some-user-id=some-number... (more or less).

Besides, why not recommend to somebody something for FREE... aren't we all paid too much already for everything to be online?! Why pay 10 kilos of bananas a few dollars, when you can get 100 kilos for free.
As I said, I really don't know what kind of website he has, and what he really need (he didn't said so), but I gave 'em (so far) good and reasonable advice!

I don't know if your even going to read this snooper, but yes it's legal, nobody said it WASN'T. But it's against this forums rules to post referral links. So just because you link them to a PAGE with referral links, doesn't mean you still aren't posting referral links, your actually just posing more than ONE. So go spam your referral links somewhere else.

its not a referral link. sure he has one on his site if you push on the banner, but hes just linking to his site which explains it better and compares, and has a referral link on it too. but hes not actually posting the referral link here.

I agree with Wozzym.

It's his site - Many MANY sites that post information regarding a bunch of sites (whether it be web hosts, ptc, ect) use their referral links. IMO There's nothing wrong that that.

His site has ALOT of good information on it and he's a good person he is helping me with my site.

That's like saying I'm not allowed to post my site for reviews, ect, because for a few text link advertisements and a couple of full page adverts on my page are REFERRAL links...

I think the ref rule is a stupid idea, if they refed you then they should get some credit for it! I don't understand why people care so much if its a refferal link or not.

Well if you are using to many resources that means you are using too much CPU or Ram. I would suggest a VPS for you.
