Hosting Issues - December 4th, 2007 12:28 PM
For the past few days we have been having a lot of issues with our free hosting service, and I apologize for the downtime and unstable features. We upgraded to a newer version of PHP, which was meant to be easy and smooth, but endless errors started to evolve - and there was no going back.
One of the main issues is our MySQL service, which is currently not working for usernames with more than 16 characters, this seems to be a particular problem with the new PHP version, and something which is still making us scratch our heads, albeit we are trying our best to find a solution, especially since it is affecting a lot of our hosted websites.
Another issue was email activations, you would signup but never get the email, again this issue has now been resolved, and for those of you who originally saw the error, please signup again.
And lastly another main issue is some hosted websites seem to have "disappeared", there seems to be a fault when our harddrive transfer script was at work, and it seems it forgot to transfer certain accounts beginning with certain letters, rest assured we are working on this too.
