New MySQL Server - Zooooom - January 30th, 2008 4:03 PM
We have successfully implemented our first database server for MySQL and all websites should now be running smoothly and MUCH faster than before! Everything went as planned, there is no need to change any MySQL configuration (we're staying on localhost), although we apologize for the downtime, it was unavoidable and was for everyones benefit. By adding a new server just for MySQL we have greatly expanded our resources and will be able to cope with the current signup level.
In a day or so we'll be hosting over 30,000 websites, a great achievement in such little time. We will continue to update our service and fix all bugs still residing, such as the custom domain bug and one or two password problems that seem to arise every so often. We also have plans to change the way we dish out free domains, you won't need a website which meets our criteria, instead you'll get to decide on a number of options; post x posts on the forum or complete x offers (which won't cost you a thing).
