A really nice firey blast made in Fireworks...
Step 1
Make a new document with 400 x 400 pixels or larger
Step 2
Select the brush tool, size 13 and go all out on the background, make it look like the image below.
Step 3
Now go to Filters -> Blur -> Zoom Blur
With these setings:
Amount: 90
Quality: 100
Step 4
Finally, mess with the colors a bit!
Final result:
And it teamed up with photoshop:

i agree emensly (sp?). you should fix the final result pic...

not such a good tutorial...there is no final result picture, which is something that all good tutorials have...it is possible that the result may look good...but directions like "mess with the colors" aren't what a top quality tutorials have
