Create a great fire effect in only a few simple steps.

Step 1

Start a new document 200x200 and create a new layer.

Press D & X on your kayboard to reset the colours.

Now render it with "difference clouds"[ filter > render > difference clouds ]. Repeat the filter 1 or 2 times more until you get something similar to my result:

Now, Render it with lighting effects[ filter/render/lighting effects ].

Use the following settings:

It should now look like below:

Now go to: [ filter > brush strokes > accented edges].

Thats it! My final result is shown below:
