This is cool and I did it! Only one problem don't have the font but nvrmind. Ok what they ment ny saying "Fill in the selection with white, set the blending mode to overlay and opacity to 87%. Press CTRL + D to deselect the selection." is to take the blending tool, then set its opacity to 87%, and the mode to overlay. Then just go from top to bottom. Easy!

I do not see how to resolve on the part! "Let go of your mouse button which will produce a selection like below. Then go to modify [Select>> contract>] by 1 pixel.
Fill in the selection with white, set the blending mode to overlay and opacity to 87%. Press CTRL + D to deselect the selection, producing the finished result text as shown below! "Could put an image?
