Create a pixel shadow in less than 1 minute in this simple tutorial!
Step 1
Make a New Document [ File > New ] big enough to hold your text in, with a white background.
Now Press D and X on your keyboard to reset the colours.
Now grab the text tool, select a font, this shadow works best on pixel fonts.. I used 04b_09 font and select a font size I used 6pt.
Now make sure your text is white and type out the text you want to apply the shadow to.
Step 2
Now we need to bring up the blending options, go to:
[ Layer > Layer Style > Drop Shadow]
Use the below settings and then press ok!
You will see that the text doesn't look visible on a white bg, don't worry because this technique works best on different colour bg's. Use this shadow technique on things like navigation bars, graphics etc.
Step 3
