If you don't have PhotoPaint or Photoshop, download GIMP. Your tool names will be off, but the tutorial will still work. Just follow the tutorial from start to finish and you can have a top-grade, professional banner like this, that YOU created, in under 10 minutes.
Once you get used to this stuff and start creating your own graphics for your own websites, you'll kick your ass for all the time you wasted whining, "I can't."
